It's okay. You're trying to work in a vacuum and it just doesn't always work that way. You are in a state of affairs where everything is up in the air. So, yah, give it a rest for a little while. Then, you need to get with others that are actively creative, like an art school or something, and believe me, the creative juices will start flowing. I don't believe that you ever really lose your muse. It's still there. It just needs to be fed.
