So yay! Perth meet up happened and it was great. The venue was fab - we had our own private cinema. \o/ We watched the boys on the big (very big!) screen. AND watched some fanvids... I have to say, seeing your own work (and work of others) on a big screen was kinda special

It was indeed a great night! I was very impressed with the picture and sound quality and will definitely be going back there for more. I think your 9 to 5 vid went down the best - would have loved to watch some more vids.

haitchem is already planning on having a True Blood birthday there so let me know if you're interested in that - won't be till October holidays probably.

The trip down memory lane was a fantastic idea and you're right watching any further into Season 5 would have undoubtedly caused tears.

Thanks for helping organise this - it's definitely something we should do again.

Yes - the picture and sound quality was awesome. I can't believe how well those S5 copies were. Even the vids..

Hee! If we do it again we can do more vids...There are plenty of awesome ones out there. :D :D

And yes - TB sounds great. I better do some catching up!

I'm still trying to get my bidder to give me enough feedback to get started. I may have to just take the bull by the horns and just get started on something.

Now that the Summer Institue is starting next week my workload will drop off drastically and maybe I can get back to the things I enjoy.

Oh you haven't heard yet? That'd make it difficult. I've got a lovely detailed brief... I just hope *fingers crossed* I can pull it off. It's somewhat out of my depth. So exciting in that respect, but yeah.... totally not sure...

And yay! for getting back to things we enjoy! :D (I have a HEAP of reports to do... yuk!).

Thanks for organizing such a great night. Both my friend and I had a wonderful time and it was fantastic meeting so many other local fans and chatting about the boys and the show we all love.

Would definitely love to do it again sometime.

I was channel surfing this morning and saw the pilot on TV. I kinda miss my still-damaged but mostly carefree Dean :(

Yeah - we had a really nice time. And seeing the Pilot again... *sniff*, made me think about how much "easier" things were back then. But seeing a cocky, confident Dean... made me realise just how far he's taken his character since then.
