Popping by to say I hoped I managed to thank everyone personally for their birthday messages. They meant a lot so here's an extra thank you! <33

I also want to give a shout out to the lovely mods at spn_littlebro. Especially to ayane42 for taking over the newsletter compiling while I'm on a hiatus. And to nahemaraxe for doing an amazing job with the littlebro tumblr ( Read more... )

It was one of those days when things just fell into place. :D

(and any night that ends in dancing has to be considered a good one! *g*)

The downside is we've ended up with more rightwing (read that as racist) independents, which concerns me.

Same here, as I'm sure everyone is aware. I don't know what the hell is going on with the world right now.

Enjoy your show lovely, glad you're having such a good time =)

I don't know what the hell is going on with the world right now.

It all seems pretty crazy - especially in the UK. Now I'm really curious to see what happens in the US (and worried!)

Thanks honey. <33

I voted Greens!!! Sadly, I live in a pretty safe Liberal seat so I always feel like I'm screaming into the void.
But. One of my kids lives in the seat of Melbourne and the other in the seat of Batman. So. Go you wonderful young people!!
I feel like we're getting really split. On the one side, the people who are passionate about human rights and the environment. On the other side, the people who are terrified; things are changing, 'other' people are frightening, things were better in 'the good old days'. It's hard to reach them through all that fear. Anyway, good on you for getting more involved. I probably should too.

Glad you're enjoying your theatre again. I hope you have an absolute blast!

Yay! Go Greens! They really are the only ones whose policies speak to me. WA is majority Liberal - but I live in a fairly safe Labor seat which makes me feel a *bit* better.

And yes, we really are so split as a society. The fact that Pauline Hanson and One Nation are back it particularly telling. And terrible!

I would like to be more involved but I'm not good at door knocking etc. I just handed out how to vote cards - but it was fun. The Green's candidate popped by on the day and we had a nice chat (and hug! *g*).
