Notes:
There's no denying that the stuff fans do because of this show blows me away. When I heard this song recently I loved that someone would write a song about the episode. My muse bashed me over the head and I needed to had visuals to the words.
On top of that, I was chatting with the lovely el1ie and was reminded of the song "The French Mistake" which appears at the end of Blazing Saddles. There's a twofold meaning in using that as the title to the episode - the film Blazing Saddles ends by breaking (well, shattering) the 4th wall and apparently the term "French Mistake" can mean "When an otherwise straight male is persuaded to, or on a whim in the heat of the moment, engages in a homosexual act of which he later regrets and is ashamed. (from here). It's been suggested that the reason Jared and Jensen weren't talking in this episode is because of this. (which I kinda love...)
Anyway... the little bit at the end is just me playing a little with this idea. Though somewhat subtly.
