One could say that Haru had been acting weird, but Haru had always done things his own way. It was one of the many reasons that Rin loved him and she thought nothing more of it. After all, why would she think he would be from what she viewed as the past?

And while he had stated he would be there, she wouldn't hold her breath. Rin knew him well enough to understand that he'd likely get sidetracked- if not lost- along the way. Thus she wasn't overly surprised when the knock came at her door later in the day. Opening it, she was greeted by a familiar face. "Haru..."

Hatsuharu didn't move any closer upon seeing her. His gaze lingered on her hair, seeing the change in her appearance in person.

"Ah, I didn't bring any souvenirs." In a way, this was like being on a sudden vacation. He was looking off in the distance as if the sudden thought had sprung upon him. It was an initial avoidance of the topic of patching up. It's easier when you don't need to directly discuss those things. It was also him making lighter of the current circumstance of being here.

Her expression remains the same for a few moments as she regards him, but it softens. Stepping back, she makes room for him to enter past the door way. After all, she's not going to stand there talking where they were. Who knew who might come along.

"I don't think this place has much in the way of those anyway..."
