Hey, everyone.

A lot of people have been asking questions about the gods -- specifically, where they come from and what their back-stories are. I've written up a quick synopsis of what I know about them from the myths in my world, along with what powers I've heard the other houses have.

You can download the attachment hereIf you have any ( Read more... )

I got bored.

[With half a laugh.]

But thanks, I guess.

This is what happens when you're bored? Wonder what it's like when you're really trying... [ Seriously though you're magic. ]

You didn't want to see me when I was studying for the LSAT.

I did logic games in my sleep.

Well, I'm in Freyr, so I can vouch from experience that one of the powers involves the ability to create things by drawing on them. I'm still working out the details about what can and can't be done, but I'll probably have a detailed report on that later.

You draw and whatever you draw comes to life?

That's close, but not quite right. I can't make anything that moves. I've tried making a watch, and while I can make it, it doesn't work. But I can make small objects, and can control how they come out to an extent, like being able to add a specific flavor to chocolate, or scent candles. I've made some chocolate and fruit successfully, but the taste is a bit faded, too.

I'm thinking of doing an experiment about that to see how exactly it works, but I'm going to need someone else in Freyr to help me out there.

Would you mind showing me?

Should more newcomers arrive at Asgard, it would be good for them to receive a copy of your synopsis.

I am also studying my own power; so far, I can create a layer of ice on anything I touch, and that's all. I will let you know if I discover anything more.

Anyone can access it. I wouldn't mind if it was given to every newcomer. I can link it to anyone who wants it.

I can light a candle. That's about it.

And you have tried to do other things with our power?

I haven't tried to manipulate anything larger than a candle. And I haven't tried to actually create fire yet, of my own free will.

Thank you, Sam-san! This is going to be very helpful, I think.

I met your brother!

-- oh this is Conan by the way. Hello.

You're welcome, Conan.

I apologize if he was a jerk.

[Dean always made a horrible impression. 8|]

No problem! And Dean-san was very nice.

[and switching to filtered ...]

You still need to know about Hel's powers?

Well, I'm glad to hear he wasn't a total asshole.

Definitely. What'd you find out?

Give Sam a moment or two and he sends the file as an attachment.]

There. Can you read it now?
