[The feed is at first filled with static and the sounds of the device being knocked around. But eventually, words start to filter through.]

[And the person seems to figure it out, so the deep, resonant voice laughs jovially]Aha, here we go! What an odd little thing indeed... I admit, it's taken me ( Read more... )

[ what a happy person. have a big smile too. ]

I hail from a far away kingdom plagued by a virus that turns people into dolls. No one's ever heard of it though.

Dolls? That sounds like a very strange magic!

More or less, though it's really a virus that's causing it. A cure's yet to be found for it unfortunately.

Quite unfortunate. The problems of disease are not something I am unfamiliar with, though I have never heard one as curious as the one your world seems to be inflicted with.

[ There's something slightly intimidating about that low and deep voice, but.. when he laughs, it just sounds really happy, and it makes Nanako just slightly less shy - slightly, really, considering it's a stranger. But really, he sounds a bit like Santa or something like that, so it can't be an entirely bad person, right? ]

Alexander.. III of.. Ma-ce-don? [ She repeats it slowly, so to try and avoid making mistakes. The little girl also blinks a bit shyly at the screen. ] T-that's a strange name..

[He appreciates the effort, and lets it show by dropping his volume... somewhat. Volume control isn't something he inherently has.]

I suppose it must be, especially since my homeland is long gone, even where I hail from. Macedon was my kingdom, you see! Quite a beautiful place.

W-wow, I've never talked to a real king before..! [ Her mouth drops open and her eyes go wide - clearly she's very impressed. ]

It does sound like a really mysterious and pretty place.. Did you like being king there?

Of course! And further still, ruling over all lands that my armies set foot in... Well, I do not mean to boast, but I enjoyed it greatly! It was a wonder to see the world and all the people in it. Macedon is tiny in comparison to the vastness of the Persian desert, after all.

Rider? Is that you? What in the name of--what are you doing here?

[He grins even wider] Ha, hello, Saber! I was hoping that I would not be alone here without the company of Servants. It is much more interesting to be in a place where I imagine the War doesn't matter, right?

I suppose...but it is still most troublesome.

Troublesome, perhaps, but a welcome reprieve! I would say that you worry too much, but wariness is fair here.

[ what a sight to see for his first trip to the network. it doesn't take lancer too long to figure out the bracelet, and after an obligatory headshake at the other man's antics, he speaks up. ]

It seems we share a house then, Rider.

Ha, so Lancer has joined as well! Welcome, then, my housemate! [forever cheerful]

My thanks for your welcome, King of Conquerors. [ rider might say and do some stupid things, but ever since he saved saber from the lancer/berserker team lancer has a lot of respect for the other man. ] But I find it rather unlikely that we are the only Servants present.

[ he hasn't seen anyone else just yet, but it would be strange if it were just the two of them... unless asgard had a quota of awesome to meet. ]

I agree! Saber has joined us as well, if you did not know. I do worry if any of the other Servants have come as well, however. From my impressions of them, they are much more treacherous than the three of us. If they are here, then I fear they may use the opportunity to their advantage with the War.

Ah, but speaking of! Lancer, would you say that it's alright to suspend our activities as Servants in the Holy Grail War for now? For the time being, it seems foolish to continue that game!

[Have a little bit of a 'what' expression here as she dredges up what she remembers from school- and then it dawns on her.]

... I'm sorry, but- did you just say that you're named after Alexander the Great...?

Named after? [he laughs] I am Alexander the Great, girl! Though I rarely would call myself "the Great," as that seems quite a bit self-congratulatory.

You are...!? But- that was centuries ago!

[ ... granted, after being teleported from her own world into whatever this place is, Chihaya's starting to lose confidence in what is and isn't actually possible. ]

[ tl;dr she looks so unsure right now ]

[unfortunately Rider is... oblivious, as usual] Indeed it was! But through some luck, I have been given a second chance to live and conquer the world. Of course, it's much bigger now, but, ah, well.
