Fuuma looked up at the ceiling as the light began to bend, forming a bump in reality as someone passed into this dimension from somewhere else. As the dimension teardrop landed and broke apart, Fuuma pasted a mild, empty smile on his face.

"Hello, nii-san."

Seishirou dusted off his black robe, returning his younger brother's smile down to the smallest nuance. Well and so, for Fuuma had learnt it from him. "Ah, Fuuma," the older hunter stepped closer before glancing around the room. "This is convenient."

"Isn't it?" Fuuma returned to polishing his battered pistol, not needing to look to know his older brother watched him closely. Of course, Seishirou and their mother would be quite disappointed if he'd had to look. Awareness and collusion, the building blocks of childhood survival in their family. Which was, naturally, why Fuuma wondered how much his brother had paid the witch to pinpoint his location, rather than muse over the tenacity of fate ( ... )

Yay! That's one of the best pieces of feedback I could get. We are winning converts over, one fic at a time, muwahahahaha.

I also recommend " Salt & Sulfur" by esunaga or some of reversehymnal's fics, too. They're both very good.
