Oh, great job with this. When I saw someone was going to do a SPN/Castle crossover I was so excited. Then I got so engulfed in what you had written I skipped my nap in favor of finishing the story. Your characterizations were amazing and how you had Sam and Alexis interact with each other just felt right. Then when you brought in more of the Castle characters and the little bits of comedic relief was brilliant, like Castle's line , "define fuck load" I cracked up laughing. You did a really great job with this!
I wasn't sure if people would buy this crossover, so I'm glad it worked for you. And that line was one of my favorites as well, so I'm happy someone else finds my strange humor amusing ;D
Oh GOSH that was amazing ! I'm just SO MAD that you killed Ryan, he's my all time favorite...
I loved your Alexis-voice. It was really good, and she was very lovable. The story feels unfinished, though, even though I get that this was long as hell and it gets pretty tough at one point to get anywhere further...
You totally need to write the other side of that story, now. Castle getting to know all that's out there and cracking jokes about it
Alexis' voice just sort of fell into place, so I'm glad that she worked for you. And as for the ending... it just felt like the right place to end it, with Sam leaving with his brother and Alexis staying behind. But I can totally see Castle constantly cracking jokes on his daughter, now that he knows what's out there :D
Oooh, nicely done indeed. I wasn't sure Alexis was going to work for me but she did. Sam v's Sammy and when it finally clicks with Alexis, deftly done *cheers*. Great story & thanks you for the read.
I'm so glad Alexis worked for you, and that you enjoyed that scene - that was one of the very first scenes I wrote, and while it evolved some over time, it's still one of my favorites ♥
This was so freaking awesome! Alexis is one of my all-time favorite televised characters (the entire cast of Castle is really well done) and you did a great job melding the two stories together. I really liked how you were able to stay very true to the SPN interactions, primarily between Sam and Dean. Just because Sam had romantic interest in her didn't mean he would put her over Dean, but on the other hand I feel like that didn't degrade her as a character. So, A+ as balancing the romance with the SamnDean stuff and \0/!! I really enjoyed this!
Thank you so much! I adore Alexis, she's also one of my favorite characters on TV right now - I wish she and Castle would get more screen time. Also, I'm SO glad you thought the romance and the interactions stayed true to Supernatural canon but didn't degrade her - that's what I really aimed to do, and it's such a huge compliment ♥
I love, love, loved this. I've been waiting for a Castle/SPN crossover for AGES! And this one was so well done. I'm such a sucker for unhappy endings. :P
