This is a formal apology for any and all patients who had appointments with me this morning. There was a problem with a patient's file that needed to be resolved immediately and, unfortunately, it took some time. All appointments need only see my receptionist and she'll be glad to move it to a later time this week.

Just in case, could you point me in the direction of the doctor most likely to hand prescriptions? Don't want to run out of cough medicine in the middle of the season.

As we're a little short on supply of doctors, we should all be able to prescribe whatever you need. There are a few general practice doctors downstairs who could probably help.

He showed up last night injured. He went back to work today. I'm not happy - not at all - but I have to deal with it until we find another solution. That's the best I can tell you for now.

I'm sorry, Karol. I can't really tell you any more than that... but we need to find a way to get him out of there. Until I hear from him again, my hands are tied.
