That really confused me for a moment.

I think you mean a white foreground, with a black background (on top of the whole thing; which is another black background).
The color settings only affect the big bar on the left side. It's 'invisible' when it's black.

i dont know, now i'm confused! i just know the bars on the left are black next to your black background on a bunch. some are grey and others are red and green. i was curious what the black meant. but its invisible?!

Black, ¿magenta?, and red bars are people.
Grey, green, or white bars are comm.s or news.
