That's a good answer, or it amused me anyway. I had an old friend who thought George was the best... it made no sense to me... maybe she thought he was pretty.
As per 'pity' (or at least the Beatle version), I'd think Ringo would be more worthy. Though supposedly at some point in the 70's his solo career was more lucrative than the others {shrugs} or I think that's how I heard it... {shrugs again}.
poor old George, what did he do?! 'All Things Must Pass' (a triple album) which was supposedly a big to do {shrugs}, The Concert for Bangladesh, then he had a hit in the mid 80's with "Set On You".
i think george is funny looking, just for the record, yet i stand by my choice! I've often heard his 'look' described as 'haggard'. He does (or did), indeed look funny. It was not my intention to dissuade you {amused}.

I haven't compared them side by side... I own 'Even Worse' (Yankovich album it's on), I probably favor this version as well.
