what is the code to send an image thru an lj email?

Why is it not as simple as uploading an image to a post?????

You're most welcome. I'm glad it's what you want and the size should be the max for lj: 100 x 100.

I need the upload code to send photos to someone else but put the message here. :)

Oh right, well you should upload the pictures to a website like photobucket and then you can copy/paste the direct link you're given to the LJ PM and your friend will see the pictures. You can't link pictures in a PM if they're not uploaded on the internet, it's not like it is for emails.

OK, I tried with Direct code from PB and I don't see the image in lj email I sent to you. You told me this months ago (about the code, etc.) and I uploaded images with no problem.

So, what gives now? Any ideas?

I don't think it's possible to have a picture show in a PM, the only thing you can do is send a link and the person receiving it will have to click on it to be re-directed to the page hosting the image.

That is weird. I was so sure you told me which code would put an image in an lj PM and I thought I did it.
