That was one of my favourite quotes of his. So simple, so true. It makes me a bit sad, though, that he even have to state this. But it can't hurt to remind people. :)

Also, the one about Martin taking the piss when Benedict does extensive voice exercises before shooting 'Sherlock' ... Priceless. *giggles*

Speaking of RDJ: he just got on Twitter too, bringing the house down, basically. lol

And, yeah, sometimes reading any kind of comment section makes you despair for humankind in general ...

Mine, too. But I admit there is absolutely nothing about what he said or did at Ozcon that I didn't completely adore. The little dance on the stage followed by a lesson on privacy (awesome!), the fact that he refused to let the panel end and just kept answering questions, how adorable he was with every single person, how he said that he wears the same shirt at every panel because he wants to give people "equal shirt opportunity"! Every single thing made me fall a little bit more in love with him and, really, I already thought there wasn't any more room for that! How wrong I am *g*

For real. I mean, of course it makes me proud to read so many people saying that Benedict's Sherlock is the best one but come on! In what world is it okay to say that on *RDJ's* facebook? *headdesk*

I just love that he is goofy one minute, but is also really passionate and sincere when it comes to answering serious questions or gives statements that are dear to his heart.
And I loved the fan encounters I read about.

Hehe, and the riding crop story seems to be the gift that keeps on giving. Not only was it TH who sent it to him, no, apparently they also paid for it with Benedict's card ... :p

I mean, if you read how out of his way he goes to give every fan who paid to see him a good time, the least we can do is to respect his privacy and leave him be when he's out and about in his free time.

I loved every single fan encounter I read reported on Tumblr. Everyone seemed to have the time of their lives, they could have spoken to him for a minute or half an hour but it was always a wonderful experience. I think it says a lot about Ben.

That riding crop story gets better every time and I am at a point where I'm not sure whether he's just yanking our chains or feeling so relaxed that he allows himself to share more. I love it anyway ;)

Agreed 101% *nods*

RDJ has gotten really social lately, joining FB and Twitter. And so great of him to post that picture too.

And a great quote from Ben! It's so very true but seems to get forgotten sometimes by people. The place I linked you to in my email, is a good example of that. I do feel guilty reading those things but I'm only reading and not taking part. *g*

Email hopefully coming your way later today!

I love RDJ's style and every post on that FB is gold :) I also read that his bio on his twitter is: you kow who I am. LOL!

The place I linked you to in my email, is a good example of that. I do feel guilty reading those things but I'm only reading and not taking part.

My old sociology professor at Uni would have told me that places like the one you linked me to are a fine example of the degradation of humanity. He'd have wanted me to study them! As it is, I'd much rather read those things for amusement ;)

*hugs*
