Rec-a-Monday: Queer as Folk US

I burnt my finger while cooking... ouch. Is it burnt or burned btw? (And very few people will get this but... suddenly all I can think about is "blunk"! LOL)

I definitely agree with you! One of my goals with this reccing project is to have "new" people discover amazing fics by "old" writers :)

I must read those stories one day. I never seem to get around to it. I think the length puts me off.

You need to find a weekend when you don't have anything planned and settle down with this fic! It's the only way I can deal with long fics myself :) I give them a whole weekend of my life *g*

I really like her stories, especially the Queer Theories universe. It's a nice long, comprehensive stories that brings in new characters and plot ideas. I think I enjoy AU!

I have to admit I still need to read Queer Theories. It was a WIP when I approached it the first time and, well, I've been burned too many times to still trust a WIP. So I waited and now... it's huge! I need to find the time to read it *g*

I love AUs but only in certain fandoms, like Merlin or Oz. In QaF or Sherlock, I much prefer canon stories. I'm weird like that ;)

Thanks for this rec. I finally read this to the end. It take me sooooo long, all week, but because English is not my first language and I'm so slow...
But this is great fic. I'm not sure if last part is wip or not. It could be end but me is me and always want more ;)
