My f-list is very very dead lately. If I get to skip 40 - now that I still can do that 'cause my soon to be old friends' page is still with me *clings to it* - it's a miracle and more often than not posts are from communities and not from friends. Where is everyone? Busy with life or migrated somewhere else? I have every intention to stay put here

I guess I'm one of the ones who has pretty much disappeared, huh? I blame all the traveling I've been doing. And it also has felt lately that I have nothing to say. However, please know that I'm still here and now that I'm actually going to be in Finland for the following four weeks, I'll try to be a bit more active *g*

As for TV, haven't watched the latest episodes of Downton or Merlin yet so can't really give you my opinion on them. But while we are on the topic of Merlin, did you know that there was a Merlin convention in London this past weekend? A friend of mine was part of organizing it and they seem to have had fun there. Don't know exactly who they had but at least some of the knights and also Colin had made an appearance. Did hear they had had some questions about the Merthur ship and the knights had been all clueless *g*

No, hon! Well, yes you did disappear (lol) but I knew where you were and why you weren't around so I wasn't worrying you might be MIA :) But seriously, though, I don't know about your f-list but mine is truly dead. I remember when being away from LJ for one day meant at least 100 posts to go through and now I'm lucky if I find 40! And just two or three are from actual people and not communities. It's like a ghost town around here...

By now I'm almost convinced the dentist likes me too much to let me go. I'm positive I won't be rid of him until Christmas! *headdesk*

You'll love Downton!! Let me know when you watch and what you think ok? Merlin... blah. And yes, I did know about the con. I even caught a video or two on Tumblr (Colin speaking) and saw a few pictures of the event. Didn't know about the merthur thing, though *g*

I think I have still been making posts (probably boring stuff lol) but it seems everyone has gone quiet with me too most days. Perhaps folks are just busy, IDK.

These last days I almost posted something like "Is anyone here ????".

But I think that the upcoming election+ lj changes (and futur policy) + Sandy....it's a lot. So, maybe that why ?

The QaF fandom really is MIA lately. I get many posts from communties about other shows but almost nothing about QaF. It's sad.

I do think RL is responsible for keeping many people away, yep, but with these last "amazing" (/sarcasm) changes LJ has planned I keep wondering if many just up and left.

I need to import my LJ over at DW again since I stopped updating it a long time ago, but a basic account is all I'll ever get there or anywhere else. I don't see myself moving permanently for one, and I decided to stop giving money to social networks for another. Buying a permanent account on LJ was a decision I'm lately regretting already!

Nah ! Don't. I'm not leaving lj even if I'm very very wary about what will happen next year.
My account is paid until october 2013 (I renewed it 3 weeks ago !). Still a long time ahead...

Ugh, fandom drama. I'm serious when I say that I was never able to understand how people can get into such heated fights over something like that. For example, I was shocked to learn that, in the QaF fandom, many people thought you could either love Brian or Justin. If you loved Brian, you were addressed as an apologist and therefore you didn't understand what the show was about and that Justin had rainbows spilling out of his ass. I just... what?? I adore Brian *points to icon* but no one is allowed to touch Justin, either! Why can't one love both??

I re-imported my LJ on DW yesterday so it's now up to date. Still, not buying anything over there :)

I try to post as often as possible...I did a few posts in the past 10 days or so- which is good for me, LOL!
I miss the days when we all had more time to play on here...and I am still VERY into the QaF fandom; I would love to see more Qaf or B/J related fics, vids, pics, news...but that stuff is so scarce arounfd here now. Makes me sad! Of course, I understand...its been FOREVER since the show was on TV, people have moved on, I guess.
I still enjoy reading everyone's personal posts, and I always try to comment.
Sorry to hear about your dental issues. I HATE going to the dentist; I have had some VERY BAD experiences in the past, and now I am afraid to go. NOT GOOD. I hope you get everything resolved soon.

I know you are, Terri! And I know your RL keeps you away from LJ but that's only fair. Priorities, you know? :)

I think I can be counted among the ones that have moved on from QaF and started to enjoy different shows, but I know I still enjoy a good B/J fic or a picspam, and I still very much love to talk about the show and the actors. We should do that more often, shouldn't we?
