The first week of work

I've completed my first week of the new job, so far its going well but I'm still in the classroom. I've not done any actual work as of yet. We're starting to get into the more complex nitty gritty insurance stuff now. I still have another week of classroom based training, but I'm both looking forward to and terrified of getting on the phones for

the training sounds good - way better than just throwing you in the deep end. (a company I once worked for tried to train me on call centre stuff in an hour and it did not go well!) Hopefully when it gets around to the actual stuff you'll realise you know more than you thought and things will work out!

I'm glad that the training is going well and, like you said, you've still got training left to go so I'm sure you'll be feeling more confident by the time you have to do the "proper" work
