Liner notes to Mary Jane say "For Cor," who we know from her thank you's a few pages later is Cory Dobyns (full name Thomas Cory William Dobyns), son of her sister Dr. Marie Amos Dobyns (who she speaks of frequently in Piece by Piece). The Dobyns 5 (sometimes referred to by Tori as Team Dobyns) live just outside of DC in Highland, MD.

Cory comes with his grandparents to the shows. He is a lacrosse player at Georgetown Prep (set to graduate in 2011 -- his siblings went there, too) and attends Mount Zion United Methodist Church (Grandpa would be proud).

During the Plugged Tour, before Raspberry Swirl (you can see this on VH1 Storytellers), Tori mentioned a gay niece or nephew that the grandparents needed to get ready for.

When telling the Mary Jane story, she always refers to his "strange puberty" and how mom is relieved he's finally bringing home a girl -- Mary Jane. Whether he actually is growing up to be straight, we don't know. But Tori alludes to something else.

I will also say he was at the show sitting next to Tori's mom and dad and looked real, real gay.
