i've found that more and more i'm wishing i were nothing short of a complete and utter asshole. at least then crushing hearts would be a simple affair, with no pain on my part. i'm so sick of this empathetic crap. i'm tired of feeling sick to my stomach and losing sleep over other people's feelings.
