Lipoma
My brave, sweet cat had the tumor removed and luckily it was only a lipoma which is completly harmless. Yesterday was still though though as he was puking ever so often and obviously hated the taste of the fluor creme that was on his freshly cleaned teeth. I finally went to sleep at 4:30 am and had to get up at 7am... my boyfriend kept watch over

I am glad your kitty is ok, I know how worried you must be. My Rusty has had tumors removed from his mouth several times, his tumors are called epilus, and aren't common in cats *harmless* but every time he goes in I worry, and feel bad that his mouth is hurting afterward. The last time he lost two teeth :(
Your boyfriend sounds like a really nice guy to take good care of you and your kitty during this emotional time.
