It's amazing how much emotion this series is able to draw out from me even though I already know where some of the plot lines are headed. I've read a bit farther than the anime currently so I don't want to spoil you. I think there's something between Nana and Hachi that is incredibly strong. I think those two need each-other in some way that's hard to express.

Also the split between then is indicated from the first chapter on since Hachi is narrating the story from somewhere in the future and she often mentions wanting to see Nana again, or wanting to hear her sing again. What got me close to tears when in ep 28 she says that the baththub with catfeet isn't there anymore. Imagining that apartement empty... it was so sad ;_;

Just let me tell you that the heart-break hasn't even started yet! The time around ep 29/30 might be the happiest in the whole series that everyone will get.

ich fand den anime viel zu langatmig ... der paradise kiss anime gefiel mir da besser

Der Paradise Kiss Anime hat immer wieder wichtige Sachen ausgelassen und stattdessen diese seltsamen Superdeformed Figuren verwendet. Sie haben sogar das Ende zum Teil weggelassen!

Nana ist hält sich genau an den Manga. Paradise Kiss hat 5 Bände und Nana zur Zeit 16 und ist noch nicht abgeschlossen. Kein Wunder also, dass es viel, viel länger ist :)
