So I'm glad the class ended up well - but I'm curious about the modesty piece you mentioned (and the string used to tie it up). I've never heard of this...but then I do earlier (1410) so maybe it's a later innovation?

Having sat through that class, I thought it was faboo. I'd never given much thought to the little black string. And your draping and piecing technique was both clever and inspired.
