My Tribe have been with me for decades, some since I was fourteen, and I am now sixty-eight, and I wouldn't change one of them.

this is so TRUE!!! I feel how much I have changed in the last few years... something, little things, and change has turned into so much negativity - my thoughts, mind. I look back and it has been a slow progression. And here I am! So true and I so want to change that. And so, small steps back to who I was.

Maybe though age brings some cynicism though, or one is more realistic and less idealistic. Maybe these are just excuses to justify the negativity. sigh.

I don't think I surround myself with enough people to even call it a tribe. *shrugs* As an introvert I'm good with that.

I certainly believe that, because the opposite has helped me see more good things. Each night when I go to bed, I think of all the good things that happened that day, no matter how small. It amounts to quite a bit some days. :-)
