I've been working like a mad thing at my new apartment. Stripping wallpaper, shampooing carpets, jiffing down appliances, painting cupboards... I am so incredibly exhausted I fall straight into bed as soon as I get home (mindset change needed here -- I mean the old place), and maybe I can stay awake for an episode of something, but usually I fall ( Read more... )

Hmm, five questions. Just ignore me if you wish, or feel free to ask me questions.
1. What is your honest, no holds barred opinion of the NZ government today? (ok, i'm just curious there)
2. Who are 5 fictional characters you most wish you could have a conversation with?
3. Whats one change you most want to see in the world?
4. Whats your perspective on fanworks and artists rights?
5. What are five quotes that just resound with your personal worldview and why?

There's something wonderful and also totally exhausting about fixing up a new place! Good job on the 'diet'!

Once I have more energy, I'll try to come up with five questions for you... :)
My pithy one liner at this point isn't very pithy. All I can think of is: Really Tired. But then again, you know me pretty well... ;)

Holymoly, that sounds absolutely full on with the apartment cleaning/spiffing - I bet it'll look great when you're done, but owww. Especially when you're at work, as well. *admires the heck out of your work ethic*

I really liked reading your answers so far to the questions, and if I wasn't just in the throes of realising, oh right, the challenge I'm running deadlines tonight (I totally forgot. OOPS.) I would think up some for you as well. Raincheck, if you don't mind? Because I am super nosycurious.

If you feel like asking me anything, go for it, though. Er. Quote. Um.
"Thow yourself on that unexploded dessert, boy! It's your duty to save the Emperor from indigestion!"

(Oh, and you'll appreciate this: last night I discovered that someone I had previously considered well and broadly educated had no idea that Julius Caesar was assassinated. I. Um. Surely that's still general knowledge, right? *worries*)
