Okay. okay. I know you hate your job, generally, and that it's not nearly as good as I expect it to be, etc. etc., hot formal clothes out in the sun all day, etc., but come on. That's pretty hilarious.

Congrats on your interp-- sounds like you did pretty well ad libbing. But what planter is going to marry a woman who was employed by Mr. Craig to bring in people off the street? No, your best bet is probably a Non-Commissioned Officer in the British Army. Considering your appreciation for men in Nice Red Uniforms sporting a Fanatical Devotion to the King, I can see that some Serjeant will rest easy knowing his highly over-rated pay (because policing private soldiers is hard work, particularly if they are debased simians of a slightly French nature) will be supplemented someday. And no doubt you are familiar with where Mr. Craig hides his silver, so on that glorious day when the British Army comes to town, it will not be overlooked. In fact, that might be a good way to snag one of those planters, if you wish to pass up the opportunities for adventure and lucre that come with being attached to His Majesty's forces in something other than a refugee capacity. Hope your weekend is going swimmingly.

I've only recently checked out Dylan's music from the library, but rest assured that I'll shoot envy-beams at you in due time.
