Well, there was a "writer's block" thing on the front page, except it was asking what winter means to me.
And I thought: Well, that ain't fair. Christmas is in summer over here! So I went ahead and wrote what Christmas means to me, instead.

Sadly, in my experience the lame jokes don't have the politeness to wait til Christmas to rear their ugly heads. If only they were a once-yearly thing. I mean, in the middle of Phantom when Christine's removed Erik's mask for the first time and he's ranting and cursing her, my dad turns to me with this teasing smile stuck on his face and deadpans, "Do you think he's angry?"
