Ups:
- Sleepy Hollow. - I love it! It makes my Tuesdays!
- Supernatural, season 9 - Castiel stripped down to human? Yes, please!

Downs:
- NCIS:Los Angeles, season 5 - The psychology of it does not sit well with me anymore. I will watch the rest of it, but just out of curiosity and on streaming. No hard drive saving.
- Arrow, season 2. - I can't ( Read more... )

At least it's evened out!
Yay for Tuesday's LOVE tuesday's for Sleepy Hollow, yes to rewatching Tom Mison. He's another actor that can convey a whole host of things with just his eyes or facial expressions. The rest of the cast are not to shabby either! (Its not torture though....)
There's no point in watching something when you end up just getting pissed off. (Did it for Merlin, will never go there again)

On another note, have you seen Rodney's Cat's journal post http://rodneyscat.livejournal.com/1007921.html
(also Scibblemoose has written something on it as well)
honestly, I don't see why more people are not upset about this, and it's just given me another reason to think Capps and Murphy are completely useless and talentless.

I just saw those posts. I don't follow Atlantis or BBC1 on twitter (in fact I have Atlantis blocked from my feed) so I didn't know the ridiculous lengths they have gotten themselves into. I only knew of the Jason shirtless photo, because Gealach had it re-posted. I am not surprised to be honest. The JJs had exhausted their limited imagination on Merlin, so with no new ideas to step on, they fall back to cheap tricks, condescending, manipulating and plain begging if you ask me.

"See? We got shirtless Jason for you! And bromance! And hidden slash! Oh look at the *slash*, citizens! Ain't it super??? It is it is it is!! And you LOVE it! You know you do!!!"

I think another word for this is propaganda. But I may be going to far.

From what I see on the Internet though, people and fans have not been fooled. If something is good, they go for it, if something is bad, they slowly walk away. I see people walking away from Atlantis. Well, it's fated to flood anyway, isn't it?

I don't follow them either, and just saw that when RC posted it. I did look at a few reviews for the first episode though, some were praising - the usual mob, Cultbox etc, some really, really hated it, and said how lame it was. There were also lots of people on Tumblr saying to give it a chance, of course its going look and be a bit the same, because you know, its done by the same people, blah blah blah. But for me thats a huge cope-out. They should have made an effort to make it different. Its a bit like reading a Dan Brown book (or a Rainbow fairy book for kids) Everybody read Da Vinci's code and went OK this has flaws, but overall a good plot etc etc, and then read the rest of his stuff and thought, well, that's disappointing, its all exactly the same ( ... )

Actually, people are not all OK with this. Many have picked up the "queer baiting" in Atlantis as it plainly is and the cheap treating of the female characters. The ratings for ep 3 dropped to a 4,66m, lower than any Merlin ep! Instead of building up, Atlantis is loosing big time. And it's not surprising at all, it's very VERY VERY logical.

I had said it months ago. Lightning does not strike twice. Capps and Murphy were hugely lucky with Colin and Bradley. Their luck run out though and Jason and Pythagoras what-their-real-names-are are not another hit, zero talent, zero chemistry. They are failing. Big time.
