Ah, I love seeing pictures of your cats, they are soooo gorgeous, but do they really ALWAYS have their eyes closed? =P My dog's the same, he doesn't like the flash!
Is your mum ever involved in sitting down for a meal with you now? Like, I know it would obviously not be the same as the whole family again, but do you think it might help you if you asked your mum to eat with you, explained the situation to her, what would/would not be helpful for her to say and do. So you set the rules, so they feel safe for you, like what to eat/how much etc. Just thinking that if TWO of you make a 'date' for a meal, so to speak, maybe it might be easier to keep to?
Hi, thanks for your words. Nah, it's ME. My mum would love nothing more than have me sit down and eat a meal with her. At the moment, I know she would really like that. It's me who can't bring myself to do it - but your right, it IS what I need to do. I need to get back into a good 3 meal a day meal-plan but I'm finding it SO hard because not only do I have my anorexic head to deal with in the day and the bulimic one at night - the Prozac has stripped me of ANY true physical appetite. Tough! I CAN do it with dad and talk VERY openly with him about everything. (Twice a week we 'do lunch' when I see him in London). For some reason, although I love her to bits and we're very close - I can't talk with mum properly about my ED.
...and yes - to be honest, my cats have their eyes closed most of the time anyway: camera flash or no camera flash. They can be quite lazy! especially at this time of year :)
I'm sorry that I haven't been commenting lately - here or on the Purg, I'm finding I don't have much motivation to be out of bed for very long lately. I'm also sorry that I really don't have anything constructive to say. I always like to try and think of something that might be helpful or at least uplifting to people, but my brain is very "meh" right now. I just wanted you to know that I still think about you very often and am always hoping you are doing well. You are an inspiration to me to get better, and I appreciate that.
And your babies are adorable. I love the one of Truffle's tongue stuck out and Little Tabs sleeping. I'll have to get around to posting some pictures of mine, as well as the kitties from the shelter where I volunteer.
Hi, I'm Kayla. I was browsing communities and I read one of your earlier posts. You sound very, very intelligent and honest in your posts, so I decided to add you. I'm sixteen, live in New Zealand in a boarding situation. Been dealing with some crap for the past four years, but I'm working on it. If you want to know anything about me, just ask ok?
Thats nice :) Thanks for letting me know. I'll add you back if you like. I don't want to pry, but if you feel like talking, or just having a rant - I'll be hear to listen. I've read your LJ stuff. I assume you've rad mine and know that I've been through most of this crap - so I really do understand. I'm completely non-judgemental, objective and always happy to listen. Message me or post to me (and I think my emails on my profile - can't remember), but even if it's only a few words of comfort (and not hugely great advice!) I can give - I like to try and be there for friends. I know how hard all of this can be! Look forward to getting to know you. Don't hesitate to be in touch. Tamsin.

How sweet of your cats to lick your teas away. Mine like to snuggle, but they're not much for licking.
