Oh hon. How heartbreaking. Do you think that your parents are trying a little "tough love" to get you out more? If so, the ultimatum thing seems a little harsh, even if it is because they want you to succeed ( ... )

Just some suggestions.

When you find a job you want to go for, make sure you change you cover letter to reflect that job specifically. Hint: look at the ad, if it says "local dog grooming company needs temporary accounting help" Than make sure that your cover letter mentions that you love dogs!

Summer jobs are fine! Instead of lamenting how it was only two months, focus on your strengths - punctual, hard working, team player blah blah blah.

Give yourself some credit girl!

Oh and great idea on the volunteering!

Thank you for the advice! I know that I just have a bland cover letter, so that might help!

I'd like to give myself some credit, I just don't think I can. Everyone I graduated with worked all through college, and I had one measley little job years ago. It's definitely a strike against me. Oh well. It is what it is. I can't go back and change it.
