Sounds like it might be the PC's power supply. Might simply be a problem with it overheating due to dust, which might just need you to vacuum it through the vents, or might be dying for other reasons.
Could simply be that the graphics card needs reseating (or the memory).
If you are comfortable doing it, open the case, unscrew the graphics card, gently clean the contacts with something that won't generate static and blow out the slot it sits in and plug it back in and screw it in again. Do the same for the memory.
Check all the power and hard drive cables are firmly plugged in.
