Because the apartment I'm looking to rent is 18K a month. 18K!!!!! With three rooms that brings it to 6k a month for moi! Money don't grow on trees. Why money don't grow on no trees. Why-o-why?

In my short visit there, things I liked the most:
Helpful, congenial peeps.
Grrreat Biryani
Clean, or at least trying to be.
Cheap (like dirt) accomodation

Then, the IT thingum happened, and I guess it ain't as cheap anymore. Still clean, though?

Looks like you havent got a dose of Hyderabad traffic, thats something that can get really bad, its like the concept of lane driving simply missed this city. Winters in Hyd are really cool, but I guess the real test lyes in the summers, look forward to your post when that comes along. Anyway glad you liking the city, as for Tank bund I think there is a tank (one from the 1971 war) on display there .
