Seemed like it took forever. That's what happens when the pencil sketch is lousy. lol Will start color and detail work tomorrow. Enough for today.

(Her hairstyle keeps making me blink, though--whenever I see a picture of her, there's always a second where I think she's wearing cat-ears.)

Heehee. Yeah, that hair of hers made me blink and study the character design sheet from the anime real closely. Apparently, they're cat-ear-shaped buns with long thin braids going around twice. XD

I had to let her have a nice Latin ballroom shoes. ^_^ Kept the ankle bells because I just adore those.

Oh, it was a stupid art contest. People don't read the rules and in the end, the host even decided to ignore the rules. I can't play like that. XD

*sighs* it's pretty bad when the people running things don't even follow their own rules. I must say, stupid people can scare the crap out of me. rather, how stupid people can be does.

I just have people that can't follow a simple availability limitation of "every other sunday". not that hard of a concept, is it? must be, cause the manager can't even get it. and now I'm catching flack for it.

And yes, this one does have a little more of the fluid action going on than my other rather static drawings. Hopefully, I'm getting better. XD

Lau started talking in my head as soon as I inked his face though. Goind about how tiring it is to hold the pose while I worked on lines. LOL
