Can't do it this year. No NaNoWriMo for me this year. And I'm feeling torn about it-- though it is definitely the right decision. I am writing already, every single day. I have the itch to work on another novel but it hasn't yet "formed" in my mind... but it's lurking there.

It was intense, I remember that. *hug* But, there also was a lot of pleasure in the accomplishment you had of meeting your personal goals.
But, of course, you know best where you are emotionally this year and what you are able to handle. I just remember more the positive bits you shared.

Anything that lowers anxiety and tension for you is good. Don't fret over a wise decision even if it's a painful one.

I am always amazed at the pressure people put themselves under for NaNo - I think I write at a pretty fast pace - and in an average month I post four chapters of whatever I am working on - each being about 4,000 words long.

Anyone who has any stress or pressure in their life, in fact anything other than eating sleeping and writing in their life, must find it a burden, I always feel, rather than a pleasure.

Write what comes to you at your own pace, I say!
