I am thrilled to report that urban_quilter wrote on her blog about my bag, and took photos of the gift after she wrapped it, even. Front and back and even side photos, and the card she made for me. She tells the story behind the bag, as well ( Read more... )

What a great story! And she even used your colors in wrapping the gift. How extradinary. And the card is great too. How lucky you are.

how's the health?

I'm so glad that she took so many photos, especially of the box before mailing, as I forgot to take a photo. It was so pretty, nearly too pretty to open!

Healh...hmmm still waiting on the results of the bloodwork concerning the high calcium. If it is indeed hyperparathyroidism, I may be taking a trip to FL for surgery, but I hope not. keep waking up with killer headaches in the back of my head. No idea why.

How are you?

Frankly, I'm depressed. I know I'm depressed. I peek out from time to time, but I can't quite turn the corner. I think it's because ... oh heck I don't know why. I just am. I'm forcing myself to work....today for example, I got up, had a couple of cups of coffee, had a little bit of breakfast, only because I have to with my arthritis meds or they tear me up, and then I went back to bed until 1 this afternoon. Got up, went to the WC, ate a peanut butter sandwhich, checked my voice mail, returned a call, and then was back in bed by 2. Got up about 3:30 and bailed on going to a function for the symphony. Behavior like this is what's been going on lately. Not good. So, very not good.

I understand being depressed, believe me. You know when you are. Is it possible that you are taking meds that can CAUSE depression? Always good to rule that out first.

You're right. NOT good, very not good. Time to let your physician/psych. know, I think.
