I'm sorry you're starting the year off ill, especially since your blood sugar will not regulate.

You know, when my husband is stressed his blood sugar will go up. He's been stressed about his other shoulder freezing up, and I think that's what's doing it? Could the stress of the existing infection be contributing to the rise in your blood sugar?

I hope your doctor will be able to help. It almost sounds like you need an ENT specialist to help rid you of that sinus infection once and for all.

Yes, I agre with you. I want to make an appointment with the ENT. My ear is giving me fits as well, as I cannot hear out the ear that uses the hearing aide (75%+) and I don't know if it is the ear that is the problem, or the hearing aide. I see the audiologist on Weds to see if it is the hearing aide. I hope desperately that I don't have to get a new hearing aide -- the one I have is at least 6 yrs old and cost $1,000 at the time (I have a weird hearing loss, not the norm). Medicare paid for it then, but will no longer pay for aides. So, that's a real jolt if I have to buy a new one.

Dang, I dumped on you! I'm sorry!!

What's to be sorry for? Health concerns are always worrisome.

I need to see a rheumatologist for my fibromyalgia, an endocrinologist, and an ENT doctor. My regular doctor said years ago that I should have my adenoids and tonsils removed, but the 20% my insurance doesn't cover is too much! It might as well be $10,000 as $1,000. We still don't have it!

Oh, I do understand. That's how I feel about my hearing aide. I have to travel 1.5 hr one way to see my rheumatologist as there are none around here. But I have an excellent endocrinologist in the next town. She is from Germany and has a lisp so I can hardly understand a thing she says, but Bear (being British) somehow understands her better than I. He is my interpreter! And we have a good ENT in the same town, but he is hard to get in to see.
