Rodney stumbles out of the jumper with Radek on one side and John on the other, and John skids through the stargate, leaves one Rodney behind and hopes like hell there's another one waiting for him on the other side, and sometime in the 48,000-year span between two rescues, Rodney takes a breath and holds it and steps into John's room.

This is my knife in the linen drawer. ♥

And the vid - wow, the contrast of red and blue, the essence of dust and waiting, ocean and hoping - gorgeously done.

That Rodney did it to save him, to save all of them, makes his throat ache like it's been scraped raw.

asdlksjd;lkjsd Just thinking about that still makes my heart go all clenchy and kind of disbelieving. RODNEY. And John, realizing that kind of sacrifice.

And such a beautiful vid... The pace of the song seems to match the way the fic reads, rhythmic and slow and graceful. Really wonderful work from both of youuuu ♥♥♥

dogeared, This is absolutely gorgeous and poetic. You write *so* well. I love how there's not one extraneous word; each of them holds its place and is where it should be. It takes real talent to be able to do that. I'm in awe.

lim, Oh, so much love. The constant dance between sand and water is fantastic. I really liked how you brought in and out the various colors (really really gorgeous), the speeding up and the sequenced cutting of some of the clips. The extra footage you introduced fit in seamlessly. As always, I am conquered.
