Beautiful story, loved how things came back bit by bit, but you really captured the confusion and fear of being stripped of memory. Also the fact that the violence was 'of screen' made it darker somehow.

The drawing is amazing, capturing a very vulnerable, clearly hurt and emotional traumatized John. Perfect.

Oh, thank you! When I got the idea for the drawing, I knew I wanted to use it for artword because it was going to need a story to make it all better. So I was thrilled when Cate did exactly that.

Oh, this is just... oh. The picture alone was enough to make my heart hurt, because he looks so alone and hurt and vulnerable but it's still so gorgeous, and then the story, where he doesn't trust anybody and doesn't trust anything but knows he's home and knows Rodney.

And then there was this part: "She just wanted me to understand how completely I would set back your neurological recovery if I tried to give you a blow job right now."

...which made me laugh so hard I kind of maybe fell out of my chair a little.

Oh, John - the trust despite the lack of memory! Cate, that was a lovely piece - very poignant, and true to character. Lovely drawing by Crysothemis, too.
