Your reasoning for such a change is a bit lacking, but as long as you made your own choice there is not much more to say.

Most of those who take such a route do it because they are perusing something strongly. Usually of a magical nature. This on the other hand is more running away from a problem and simply taking an easy out rather than facing the true issue. To reject ones humanity is a serious matter, it brings a lot of changes and consequences. The quickness of such a decision would imply that it wasn't really thought about. It feels careless.

It's easy to say that when you don't know what the problem is to begin with. Though if I were at home, I would agree with you. But I'm not. I simply can't afford to be weak with the way Mayfield is and the powers I already have leave me like that.

I've gone through every solution myself and others could think of any nothing worked. So I did this.
