You'd be surprised how many people come into my pool that can't tell time. I work at a college for god's sakes! I used to just point to the clock when people asked me what time it was, but now I realized they really can't tell time. Ooh baby baby it's a scary ass world.

Why do we need to know how to read a clock when everything is digital?

I have a non-digital watch, it has no numbers, just bands where the 12, 3, 6, and 9 should be and also lines where the other numbers should be. It does also have thinner lines for the minutes...so you can tell when it's 12:23 as opposed to 12:22. Get a clock like that and watch their heads explode.

Yes the clocks at my pool have no numbers on them, just lines. It's even worse because the clocks are slightly tilted. But, COME ON!

No, the people who asked me for the time the other night couldn't. Many people come into the pool that can't swim at all!
