Hmm...I'd say you're more of a storyteller than the standard stand-up comic. So I guess it depends what type of audience you'd be going for. In certain circles, I think you'd be regarded as hilarious, but there are others who might not appreciate your points of view on life. But then again, that's true for all comics.
Maybe rather than being caught in the flat and limiting label of stand-up comedian, you should go for the non-classifiable spoken word style of expression, like Henry Rollins. That guy can be both hilarious and profound at the same time.
scripted/ semi improve sketch comedy is more your thing. i'm will to guest appear, you know, since you're, like, gonna ask me anyway. you can be a seductive case manager at an abnormally unorganized/supervised halfway house.
