I'm not sure if you're looking for critique or not (if not, please ignore me), but it looks like you have a bit of trouble with torsos, the chests of the figures in your sketches don't have a lot of weight or presence to them, and feel too small for the body. The chest is generally fairly wide, two head-widths should be able to fit inside at the widest point. The chest doesn't quite taper into the body, it doesn't balloon out per-se, but it has a definite shape and presence, you can definitely see its shape before it flows into the waist. I want to say "think of the shape of a peanut" but it's a little extreme.
Yes I am looking for critiques! It's a big reason why I joined the artslam, to improve even the simple things. Thank you, I'll try and keep that in mind.

Yes I am looking for critiques! It's a big reason why I joined the artslam, to improve even the simple things.
