That emotional morph... totally feel that. I've thought long and hard on it, and I've come to the conclusion that everybody goes through that morph, that loss of closeness, but people are just so content with pretending everything's alright and afraid to admit that they're going further and further away, that they deny the problem. They deny that they aren't as close to someone as they used to, and they go on with everyday life. Denying a problem doesn't make it better, and by not realizing that everyone's growing apart, discovering their individuality (or lack thereof), just coming into their own, you refuse to adapt to the change and be with those who really matter to you ( ... )
