How it works
artpaperscissor is a Supernatural and RPF art tag challenge modeled after salt_burn_porn. I'm mashimero, your mod, and clex_monkie89 and lightthesparks will be helping me out as well.
At the start of each round, a mod will tag a participant and give them a prompt. That person will have 24 hours to make art, link it to the community, and tag and prompt another person.
You can choose who to tag from the masterlist of participants.
The 24 hours start from the time you were tagged, not from when you saw it, so make use of the email tracking feature! Please do not rely on the timestamp in the entry, or the LJ inbox tracking feature, as those show times adjusted for different time zones. You can also get updates by following @aps_feed on twitter. However, email tracking is the most reliable way to track when your 24 hours start, and is the method that the mods will use to track the time.
If you're tagged but can't get something done in time, post to the community with the subject "Pass" and tag someone else. You can give that person your prompt or give them a new one.
If you pass you can be tagged again later on. If you don't respond or pass within 24 hours, you will be taken out of the current round, and the mods will tag a new person.
If you are the last person to be tagged but can't post something in time, you have one chance to pass, but you need to find a pinch-hitter. The pinch-hitter does not have to be signed up originally, but must be able to post something within 24 hours, and then they will tag you with a new prompt.
Rules
Prompts should be short and non-pairing or character specific. The artists will choose the character(s)/pairing(s), not the taggers.
Any characters or pairings from Supernatural or SPN RPF are allowed.
Drawings/paintings (both traditional and digital), digital artwork (graphics, manips, blends, collages, etc), and fanvids will be accepted. Icons are not allowed. There is no minimum size or length requirement.
Porn is optional in this challenge. Any ratings and kinks are allowed, but please warn accordingly.
Posting
When posting to the community, post a link to your journal entry and add (at least) the following information:
-title
-rating
-pairing(s), if applicable
-warning(s), if applicable
-spoiler(s) for unaired episodes, if applicable
-a preview image that is 300x300px or smaller
And don't forget to tag and prompt the next artist!
