My friend had her baby

I went out to dinner last night with BK and Matt. When I got home, there was a flashing light on the answering machine. "Oh, I bet that's a baby message!" It was. My friend had her baby a little after 11 pm Tennessee time. Hooray! I'm excited to meet Alex (the baby) in December.

Yeah, I just talked to my friend on the phone and she and the baby are doing great. The labor was as smooth sailing as one can expect, and though the baby is a little small because it was premature, the docs say there are no health problems, and they'll be going home tomorrow. Luckily we had worked out the announcements early. I'll be printing them next week. Star-themed, no less!
