A new normal

I wonder why some people still don't want to wear masks. Do you wear them? Me and my daughter love them! There are many cute designs, and they're also cheap in my country; you can get the most basic, one-color cloth mask for 35 cents (the most popular version). I had to stop ourselves from buying new cute illustrated ones that caught our eyes 😅

Yep. Love masks. It’s the right thing to do. Not wearing one is selfish. Glad you are keeping well. I e been playing Animal Crossing New Horizons. I’d love to find friends to play with. If you know anyone, send em my way!

"Selfish" is right! A few people around here (not in my neighborhood thankfully) are saying they're simply not worried about getting sick. They don't seem to care about passing it to others. Some of my friends just hated the heat under the mask *sigh*

Oh I haven't tried Animal Crossing, I've been crazy about Pokemon Shield and the DLC. We're thinking of buying ACNH, but I'm still afraid of getting myself into a new bottomless hole of video game craving and forgot to do my daily RL work (shamefully I legit did that a few times with Pokemon). Most of our friends played ACNH earlier this year and have since moved on (some say out of boredom), I think they were just in it for the hype. What do you personally think of the game?

I admit that Animal Crossing is the first game I’ve played. Not a gamer. But I’ve fallen hard for this one. It’s slow paced which suits me. Every day you do sort of chores. There is an ideal order but it’s no big deal if you do what you want, when you want. You decorate your home and aim to make money (called bells) by harvesting fish and such from the island. I loved making the house bigger and decorating. It was like playing house as a kid. I was a resident in my daughters island, but she lost interest and I took over decorating the island and terraforming, etc. We just achieved 5 stars and I was legit excited. I guess as time passes and all the seasons pass and I’m back to the season I started I can see getting bored. Or it might happen before that. I tend to fall in love with stuff and then lose interest.

Your lucky, masks cost anywhere from 8 dollars to 30 dollars here depending where you buy them. They do have some characters on them or they are a solid color. I wear my mask every day here because if you don't you can't go into any stores or any other place without one.

I haven't watched SPN since the start of season 12. When I can sit down to binge watch I will do that and catch up. I did catch 1/2 the Scooby episode when it was on regular TV but I will see it when I watch the next 2 years of it.

Whaat?! 30 dollars for a single cloth mask?! 😱 Is it lined with gold or something?
In my country they're mostly made by small home businesses, and there's a ton of them lately converting to producing face masks. So there's usually no brand and the prices are low. Branded, illustrated ones are about $2.

Ohh you've been missing SPN too? I hope you'll catch up soon and share your thoughts 😉

Stay safe, Time!

Yeah, masks are expensive and people are making them at home as well as commercially. I bought 3 masks off Etsy and it cost me 50 dollars. Some of them are only 1 ply as well and not made of gold just people taking advantage of others to make a buck. I'll get back to you when I get to watch SPN.

You and your family stay safe too hon.
