Hey. About three months ago, I purchased a custom Dragon design from someone on FA. The cost was only $5 and they were quick to start designing. In December, they started to get quite a bit distant and hardly uploaded to FA. It sounds like you paid for a 5$ quick design but wanted to turn it into a personal ref sheet. While it's not great that they've stopped responding, (because they should have at least been clear and put their foot down about revisions) you've far well exhausted the 5$ value of the design and I sincerely hope the artist has since started making new rules on how they take their designs.

I'd say you can use the most recent one you got, since even if it still needs a revision you did pay for it. But if you want this much refined attention to a design you should just pay someone for a ref sheet instead.

I don't think is entirely accurate. The artist continuously offered revisions as I just wanted something simple. If it's being offered, why not take it? I did go for a reference sheet with a design by them as that was what they offered to do. $5 is very cheap and I was shocked too since they had never even done dragon designs before (which is what this was for) but I really wanted one so I figured why not? I was more than happy to pay more if they asked. Adding onto this, the artist asked for details regarding the character and I provided them where they then sent three at one time. It's not like one was made, then revised, then revised again and again ( ... )
