I'm quite shocked that she has been listed here due to lack of communication and failure to complete things. Especially given she's listed under Trusted Artists, which I would notify them about this because this actually I think breaks one of their main rules when being a Trusted Artist and sporting their signature icon.

Oh wow, I actually watch this artist. Seeing them keep their queue private is a bit of a turn off. Overall, attitude and lack of communication is a no from me. un-watch.

Her queue is set to private to keep clients information private. She does this to comply with her ToS

That doesn't negate that some do not prefer to see a private queue. That's a preference as its a common "signal" of many problematic artists who keep one, or suddenly flip a public one to be private.

Like oceandezignz said, keeping that private raises a red flag a lot of times because a potential client can only judge how active an artist is but their uploads, but they could have dozens of waiting commissions. That sort of transparency is important. I notice the artist doesn't credit the commissioner when uploading art, but that's an exception rather than the rule, as most artists state who commissioned them/ the character(s) owner(s). This helps to avoid art theft, in my opinion.

Also, a trello or something doesn't need to have the client's names but could simply put "[character's name] art piece" to keep track.

After seeing the unethical sense of no refunds i removed this policy from my own 3+ year old ToS a that never got a full upgrade a while back because even if i was gonna get the art finished, people are allowed a refund if they ask; even if just partial if work has gone past a certain point. Anyone who flat out denies a refund after no work is just shady as fudge.

Me and Jalmu had sat down in the past to fix this issue and have it in her ToS. Both me and her know that this was unacceptable at the time and still feels bad about how this happened in 2012. Her current ToS has provisions in place for both the protection of the artist and client as stated on cancellations:
Cancellation (“kill”) fees are due based on the amount of work completed. Forty five percent (45%) of the final fee is due within seven (7) days of notification that for any reason the job is canceled or postponed before the final stage. One hundred percent (100%) of the total fee is due despite cancellation or postponement of the job if the art has been completed. Upon cancellation or kill, Artist retains all rights to the art, and all original art and copies thereof must be returned, including sketches, comps, or other preliminary materials, and Client shall permanently delete all digital copies thereof. We are working after this AB posting is resolved to affixing a Refunding Policy that will be part of the ToS and all new ( ... )

Oops. That's me. Archived this on the new website, and then forgot to tag it here too.

Hello; I work with Jalmu from time to time and she has asked me to help better explain this situation. I want to state that I do not have any financial obligations to her nor any equity in her business to seek any profitable benefits from her. I am simply a friend helping a friend that helps her with her ToS issues and Logistics.

The first thing is I want to link Jalmu's ToS that Sergallysergal did not link in his post. And want to mention that the last update on January 7th of 2018 before this transaction came about.

(Linked screenshots of evidence at the bottom)

I want to state that this claim against Jalmu is an attempt of Extortion.

Okay so to the claim of payment:
"Was given an invoice, and gave her payments to the invoice(1) for the images she completed as she did them. First went pretty quick, the next one took a month, and the latest was not received until August. Between the second and third, she claimed she needed to get money together to move, and my response to that was to finish paying off the invoice completely." ( ... )
