My Scene Doll Diorama

Nov 11, 2008 12:12

I know i'm not the only onoe that does this. I love giving my dolls their own space and their space tells a story. These spaces are also known as dioramas. I've retrained my eyes over the years to look at everyday items differently. I now am always looking for items that can be used in my dioramas to give them a more realistic feel and look. Love them! :D
I sorta do, but I never display them for long.
I have my Bratz Kidz sitting on an area of my desk. It's sorta like a club house.
I used to have a runway for my Model Muse gals, but took that apart.
My Bratz and My Scene share the bottom half of a bookcase. For the Bratz, it's a party type of scene. For My Scene...it's sorta just friends hanging out.
I have the Barbie Fashion Fever Boutique w/ a few of the FF pivitol dolls creating a scene.
Oh, almost forgot! I have a small region of the room dedicated to the Yummi-land dolls.

Ditto about the looking at things in a different view. :D Wow...this is a long message. O.o

I've always wanted to make a run way for my dolls. Right now i'm working on a staircase. I haven't decided if it's going to be spiral or not. It will have to be grand ;-) though. My Fashion Fever boutique is still in the box I keep telling myself I need parts but i never open them. When it comes to regular barbie furniture at items...I usually bust out the spray paint and acryillics to give them a custom look . Fun fun ...yet as we all know time consuming
