Rob's home sick today. Still working, though. And he will until he has to stagger up to bed, because that's the way he is and there's nothing I can do about it, except make sure he's well supplied with juice and broths ( Read more... )

> Not knowing is more fun.

HSQ is way better than smirky spoiler-whoring. Tried both sides.

> teenage Cockney bad boy in "Band Candy"- that must've been hella fun to play

The rocking Jane Espenson at her best. "It's really 'Juice Newton'" and of course, the classic "Summers, you drive like a spaz!"

I owe you an email -- it has been a discombobulated kind of week.

Starting to see why you like JE so very much- she sure brings the funny. I've read around that she can't write Xander well, but so far nothing's jumped out all clangy about her Xan-voice.

Bitte, was ist "HSQ"?

Re: Weeks, discombobulated; I can relate. Get back to me when you can, no harm, no foul. :-)

HSQ -- holy shit quotient. Spoiler whores poo-pooh the value of the surprise elements in their favourite shows compared to the warm, smug feeling of being in the know.

More fun for me to see the story unfold as intended.

So great to be seeing Buffy for the first time! As i said, I watch it on Space, just because, and it's still fun, but not the same. I remember once at the Clarke, one of our young patients was seeing Star Trek for the first time, and this other staffer and I looked at each other with perfect understanding as we said "Lucky you!", and we didn't even know that we were fans.

Absolutely! And that's why I'm limiting myself to just a trickle at a time (even though, thanks to Arnora, I have seasons 4 and 4 already in hand).

I watched Spike's star turn/return in "Lover's Walk" last night and was blown away. I never knew Xan and Willow were going to crush on each other. I still don't know why Angel was sent back from Hell...

It's completely delicious.

And next up, tonight- "The Wish"- with vamp!Willow and vamp!Xander!! I *do* feel lucky. :-)
(But would love to be watching season 7 on Space, if only we had cable... heh)

Aw, me too!

-Cooking giant pots of fancy sauces, in a large tent during a hurricane? Strangely, among my most contented memories of that Pennsic when Camp de Taahe was also Drachenwald Royal.

Good times, good times...
