RIP Ipod T_T

So my Ipod shuffle finally bit the dust today after over four years. I don't know what the normal "life span" of an Ipod is, but considering that's longer than some of my COMPUTERS have lasted...

Well, recently it had been acting weird, like only letting me add one song at a time before having to disconnect and re-connect it, only charging half of ( Read more... )

I totally have a DS with a M3DS Real flash cart. It was $75 (cause it came with GBA-enabled support) and can play music, as it has a separate program for it. I have used it before, but I don't use it often. It's not as great as you'd think. But if you're buying it to save you money, I can understand. Gamestop sells used DS Lites for $70-80, I believe. I'll have to check with the boyfrann'. :D But go on www.divineo.com to buy your flash cart. They're pretty awesome.

What's not so great about it? The flash cart, the music player, or both? Thanks for the link, though. I'll check it out!

The music player on the flashcart. Though, I think it's because I dislike how bulky my DS feels. But that's me being picky.

For what you're looking for, that's exactly what you need. :D

I never use my hacked DS for music, just games...but they do work for that and I would definitely recommend getting one. The things are tanks, I have only had to replace mine once and that was because I got it kinda under the table from a friend that worked at a game store and there was something wrong with the system in the first place so they couldn't trade it in...but even with that, the thing lasted me almost three years.
I have had a DS since just about when the originals came out and I am literally never without it. The sheer amount of games that they have released for the DS makes it worth it in my mind, no matter what you like, you will probably be able to find one to suit your tastes ^.^

You do have to be careful with the flash carts though. If you get one of the newer DSi systems, they have built in web browsers but most of the flash carts don't work.

I'd try to get one of the original models. A friend lent me theirs for about three months and I got really attached to it. xD That and they're bound to be a lot of used ones around at gamestops. :D
